With my wedding a few weeks away, I have been trying to get in as many workouts as my body can take. And whilst i don’t consider myself unhealthy or even overweight. I did start getting stressed about how I would look on the big day. Especially after seeing lots of bridal pictures with brides that looked perfectly pretty and fit. Which is what I wanted to achieve. But the reality is that whilst I have been pretty good with my workouts for a few months now. Over the past few weeks its seemed impossible to get my workouts in as often as I would like.
Mainly because wedding stress is a real thing. And with last minute preparations, working out is the last thing on my mind. Which is why I have decided to be gentle with myself during this period. Mainly so I can also try and enjoy the process leading up to the wedding and focus and being healthy and not skinny. Which for me has meant taking time to relax when I can and take a deep breathe. After all, what good is a fit bride if I am unhappy and stressed on the day. So instead of going to gym like a crazy person I am going when ever I can. Sometime just to sit in the sauna or do a light jog. Which is really all I feel I need as my dress has been made to fit me and not the other way around.
